Here we go! Another 8hr+ flight and the question is what do you bring on the plane?

Even after exploring over thirty-five countries I swear I ask myself this every. single. time.

The thought process is usually a) I want to be comfy, but clean and b) I want what I need but to pack light. Contradictory? Ya, I know. But in the end it’s always the same in my backpack...

Electronics:

phone, charging cable, portable charger, headphones, phone holder

GoPro with holder, charger and extra memory card

Downloaded books or music

Comfort:

Thick memory neck pillow (the best one is...)

Scarf to use as light blanket

Sanitizing wipes for the headrests, seat belts & table trays (sometimes they’re black after wiping!!)

Baby wipes & Moisturizing face mask

Lip chap and hand cream for the dry air

Vitamin C chews to boost your immune system

Comfortable face mask (now is the new norm)

Upgrades:

Ask for an upgrade at baggage drop (sometimes you can get a better seat for less!)

Ask again at the gate (sometimes people don't show up for their flights and a seat is available!)

Tip: Think of breaking up long flights with things to do!

8 hour flight = 2 x 30min meal’s + 2 x 1.5hr movies + 4hr nap! Next thing you know you’re halfway across the world!
